Emerson 561 Series B 1940s Deco Tube Radio
Here is a generally very nice Emerson 561 Series B 1940s deco Plaskon cast plastic tube radio. This radio was designed by the very famous Industrial Designer, Raymond Loewy. This ivory colored radio has a very nice, large gold tone reverse plastic speaker and dial insert. This radio was sold or serviced by the Flatbush Appliance Co. of Brooklyn, New York as their label, dated Nov 22, 1948 is on the bottom of the radio. As to physical condition , this radio is generally in very nice shape with a few small, hairline aging stress cracks and a ding to the reverse paint area on the right center section towards the top. I believe that all of the flaws are visible in the photos. As to operation, the radio lights up but only lightly hums with no reception. The dial and volume controls work properly. Shure PE-585 Microphone PAIR With Accessories
Here is a PAIR of Shure Model PE-585 Unisphere A high impedance, hi-ball style microphones . These microphones come with cases and cables with adapters to 1/4" male tip-ring connectors. Both microphones are in excellent working and physical condition save for very minor pitting that was caused by old, deterirated foam that was once in one of the cases. This is so minor that you might not notice it but you should know about it. The old packing foam has been completely removed from both cases. There are no dings or dents to the screens or any other damage. The mics both have on-off switches with the option of locking them in the 'on' position. No mic stand clips are included.
