Masterwork 'The Rover' Portable 45 Record Player
This is a Masterwork 'The Rover' 45 RPM carry along portable record player. In 1966 (or so), this was as close to an iPod as you got! Simple, just slide in your favorite 45 RPM record and play it. No complicated screen, just a volume control and a Reject button! This 'Made in Italy' player is in like new condition physically and even includes it's original clamshell styrofoam molded packaging but no box (sorry). Unfortunately, it doesn't work. I put batteries in and did get some audio when I turned the record a bit by hand but that soon quit. The motor does not seem to be running. I have had this piece a long time. For some reason, it occurs to me that this may have been a store return item that got sqirrelled away. At any rate there never were terribly common an it is a neat piece for transistor radio or (relatively) modern phonograph collectors. Actual shipping is additional. There is NO handling charge! This item may be returned within 7 days for a full refund less only shipping charges provided that it is returned in the condition in which it was shipped. Insurance is recommended. I cannot be respoinsible in any way for uninsured items! Thanks for looking! |
