Here is a neat, old 1950s era National SW-54 shortwave receiver! This was a basic, entry level, SWL or Novice ham receiver. It does have 'pro' features such as mechanicl bandspread and a BFO but it is basically a glorified 'All American 5' radio at heart. The styling is very nice for a communications recever and it is an item that any collector of vintage ham gear should have!
As to this particular receiver, it's appearance is good in most respects but there is some rust on the top not all of which shows in the picture (plan on it being a bit worse than what you see). The chassis does seem to be working but the tuning knob is loose so the dial doesn't move. This is likely an easy to fix problem.
Actual shipping costs are additional. There is NO handling charge! There is a 10 day right of return provided that this receiver is returned in the like shape in which it was shipped. Insurance is recommended and I cannot be responsible al all for uninsured items!
